RHC History

Founded in 1977, Robert Heely Construction has been delivering safe, quality, on time projects to some of the largest oil and gas providers in the industry. We take pride in this accomplishment and strive every day to make this our number one priority.

Robert Heely’s tenacity and attention to detail as a welder working in the oil fields of central California drove the demand for Robert’s services. Over the following years, our operations expanded to cover almost every onshore oilfield in California.

In 2006, due to the company’s growth, additional senior leadership was needed. Craig Bonna, a seasoned industry veteran, joined the company as a Partner, President and CEO.  Robert Heely Construction, LP was rebranded as RHC.  As our growth continued, we relocated our Headquarters in 2014 to a larger facility in Bakersfield, California that was more central to our customer’s core operations.

Additionally, in 2014 due to a strategic customer relationship, the request for RHC to open operations in Midland, Texas was requested and answered. Leveraging the operational excellence, policies, procedures and safety culture developed over the years from the California operations, RHC quickly established itself as a full-service provider of construction/maintenance services in the Permian Basin.

Today the company provides a wide variety of construction and plant maintenance services across North America. We achieve this by providing cost and schedule predictability with a world-class safety culture on every project we perform.
